Overview

The "Select  a Link" module allows you to add a drop down menu as an easily accessible navigation item to your DNN website. You can add links to external websites or to internal websites from within your DNN site. The “Select A Link” module allows you to sort the links and disable any of them.

After choosing any of the links from the drop down menu, the user will be taken to the URL that was specified by the admin for that menu item.

Features

  • Full compliance with DNN page permissions
  • When a user (with “edit module” permission) is adding links to internal pages, only the internal pages that he/she has access to will show in the list.
  • The menu will only show the pages that the current user has access to. This way, the menu is dynamically adjusted to not show links to internal pages that the user doesn't have permission to view.
